The Romanit Palace on Calea Victoriei is host to the Art Collections Museum which was first opened in 1978 as a branch of the National Art Museum. In the museum’s portfolio, there are around 34 private art collections which were donated to the museum. Thus you can admire the work by great artists such as Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Nicolae Tonitza, Theodor Pallady.

The Romanit Palace was built around 1812 and due to its Romantic architecture is considered to be the beginning of modern architecture in Bucharest.
