Ciucevele Cernei Nature Reserve is part of Domogled Cerna Valley National Park, the biggest national park in Romania. Ciucevele Cernei are limestone cliffs, spectacularly steep and mostly covered in vegetation, located on both sides of Cerna river. These cliffs have various names like Ciuceava Mare, Ciuceava Neagră, Ciucevele Prihodului Mare, Ciuceava Frasinului, Chicerii, Ciuceava Vacariei or Ciuceava Drăgan’s Ciuceava.

The wilderness of the area, the sub Mediterranean climate and the special elements of flora and fauna, make it a special destination, ideal for adventurous hikes where you can truly disconnect from civilization.
